NEWS REGARDING THE TRANSITION OF TAHOE CEDARS AND MADDEN CREEK WATER SYSTEMS (Mid Sierra Utilities).

GOVERNOR BROWN HAS DECLARED CALIFORNIA'S DROUGHT OVER. HOWEVER, THERE ARE STILL CONSERVATION MEASURES IN PLACE AND AN EXPECTATION THAT WATER CONSERVATION BECOMES A WAY OF LIFE FOR CALIFORNIANS. PERMANENT RESTRICTIONS PROHIBIT WASTEFUL PRACTICES SUCH AS:

  • Hosing off sidewalks, driveways and hardscapes:
  • Using hoses not equipped with a shut-off nozzle;
  • Using non-recirculated water in a fountain or water feature; and
  • Watering lawns, trees or plants that causes runoff or within 48 hours of measurable precipitation
