64-Acres Park - 165 W. Lake Blvd Tahoe City, CA 96145

64-Acres Park is U.S. Forest Service land that is developed, operated and maintained by the TCPUD. Located just south of the "Y" in Tahoe City, this 64 Acres Park hosts parking, picnicking and provides access to the bike trail system and to the Truckee River itself through a rafting ramp.

Commons Beach Park - 400 North Lake Blvd. Tahoe City, CA 96145

This four-plus-acre park is located on the Lake in downtown Tahoe City. Commons Beach is popular for sunbathing, swimming and picnicking. Group picnic sites and children's playgrounds are located within a large lakefront grass and sand area.

Located in the heart of Tahoe City, Commons Beach has served many purposes for the community from a transportation hub with shipping and train tracks, to private commercial enterprises, to a local post office, jail, firehouse, and finally a community park.

The park boasts a group barbeque area that can accomodate up to 75 people and adjacent to that is an amphitheater that will seat another 65. Each of these areas are available for private rental as well as several other outdoor venues maintained by the Tahoe City PUD listed on this page.

Elizabeth Williams Park - 4 Miles South of Tahoe City on HWY 89

Just north of Kaspian Campground on Highway 89, Elizabeth Williams Park has long been a favorite of anglers. Picnic tables and barbecues are available. A great place to relax next to the lake.

Kilner Park - 2 Miles South of Tahoe City on HWY 89

Kilner Park is located 3.5 miles south of Tahoe City on the corner of Highway 89 and Ward Avenue. This wooded 7-acre park adjacent to the west shore bike trail has a children's playground, lighted tennis courts, tennis practice court, sand volleyball court, walking and biking trails, picnic tables, group picnic area and restrooms.

Lake Forest Beach Park - End of Bristlecone Road in Lake Forest, Tahoe City, CA 96145

Lake Forest Beach Park, offering an incredible view of the lake, is located at the end of Bristlecone Avenue in Lake Forest. Lake Forest Beach Park is a popular spot for swimming, sightseeing, bird watching, horseshoes, picnicking and wind surfing. Limited parking is available.

Marie Sluchak Community Park - in Tahoma - Pine & Wilson

Marie Sluchak Community Park is located at the "Y" on Pine Street in Tahoma. Operated by the Tahoe Cedars Property Owner's Association and the TCPUD, the park offers a stage and seating area and is home to "Movies in the Park." It also offers a playground for children, and a variety of summer programs. For more information on events call Marie Sluchak at 530-525-6169.

Pomin Park - 2500 Lake Forest Road Tahoe City, CA 96145

Pomin Park is located adjacent to the Lake Forest Campground and Boat Ramp. This park boasts a large athletic field, a children's playground, a batting cage, a picnic area and restroom. Popular activities include baseball and soccer programs. Limited parking is available.

Skylandia Park & Beach - 90 Aspen Street Lake Forest Tahoe City, CA 96145

Skylandia Park is a 24-acre California State Park operated and maintained by the TCPUD. It is located 1.5 miles east of Tahoe City on Lake Forest Road. Skylandia Park provides bike trails, hiking trails, and picnicking. The park also features a beach, pier and swimming area.
