The TCPUD Parks & Recreation's Summer Online Registration Opening Day is scheduled for Residents* only on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024 at 10am.
Non-Resident online registration opens Tuesday, May 7th, 2024 at 12pm.
*Resident rate refers to customers that live and/or own property in the Tahoe City Public Utility District service area. Residents of the service area receive a reduced rate off many of our recreation fees as a portion of their property taxes are used to support parks and recreation services. Description
What better way to gain great life skills, while having fun? Be a Counselor-in Training! This program is designed for campers interested in becoming future Junior Counselors. CITs assist camp counselors with day to day activities during Camp Skylandia including looking after the safety of campers. Special projects include The Skylandia Weekly, a weekly camp newspaper created and designed by our CITs for the campers.
Field trips for CITs will be held on Tuesdays and will attend Wednesday Field Trips with Grades 1-5. Camp overnights are optional for Sessions D & H, and there is no camp on Fridays after the overnight. Maximum 18 spots available for each week/session.
Please remember to pack these important items for your child every day:
- Sack Lunch and Snacks
- Water Bottle (Children must have their own refillable water bottle)
- Sunscreen
- Closed-toe Shoes
- Water Shoes for the Beach
- Bathing Suit and Towel
Parent Information Letters will be emailed each week prior to the start of each camp session:
