Recreation Department

For over 50 years, the TCPUD Parks and Recreation Department has worked tirelessly to provide facilities, programs, activities, and special events to enrich the lives of residents and those visiting throughout the year. From sailing on the lake to parks, golf, and winter sports, the TCPUD offers a wide range of activities and services for the entire community.

COVID-19 Recreation Program Response

The Tahoe City PUD Parks and Recreation team has remained dedicated to offering programs when possible through Placer County's Reopening Plan.

For updated information on the operating status of our Parks & Facilities, visit here.

  • Mark your calendars! Online Registration for summer camps and programs opens for Residents* on Wednesday, May 12 at 8am!  Non-Resident online registration opens Friday, May 14 at 8am.

    • *Resident rate refers to customers that live and/or own property in the Tahoe City Public Utility District service area. Residents of the service area receive a reduced rate off many of our recreation fees as a portion of their property taxes are used to support parks and recreation services.
