Recreation Department

For over 50 years, the TCPUD Parks and Recreation Department has worked tirelessly to provide facilities, programs, activities, and special events to enrich the lives of residents and those visiting throughout the year. From sailing on the lake to parks, golf, and winter sports, the TCPUD offers a wide range of activities and services for the entire community.

COVID-19 Recreation Program Response

The TCPUD continues to monitor the continually and rapidly changing circumstances of COVID-19 and its impact on our community. Our team will maintain essential services but has modified non-essential Parks and Recreation Department functions, to ensure the health and safety of our staff and community.

Online registration for summer programs is currently postponed until further notice. Any updates to our programs, including modifications or cancellations, will be updated to this website.

  • All sessions for Swim Lessons and Swim Team at Granlibakken Pool are cancelled.
  • June sessions for Camp Skylandia, Tahoe Community Sailing and Youth Golf are cancelled. July and August sessions are to be determined.
  • Softball Managers Meeting scheduled for May 13 is postponed until further notice.
  • Adult Sports Leagues (Softball, Bocce, Cornhole and Ultimate Frisbee) are postponed until further notice.
