Come ready to go in the water with appropriate attire and closed-toed water shoes. Bring:
- Warm Dry Clothes
- Face Covering*
- Water Bottle
- It is encouraged to bring your own Wetsuit and Life Jacket, however, free weekly rentals are available upon request.
* Face Coverings: The CA Department of Public Health recently released new guidelines for face coverings. Read the new guidelines here.
As of 6/15, 2021 face masks are not required to be worn by participants at TCPUD outdoor camps and programs. In general, per CDPH, unvaccinated children and youth do not need to wear a mask outdoors, even if they cannot maintain physical distancing. However, per CDC recommendations, in areas of substantial to high transmission, people who are not fully vaccinated are encouraged to wear a mask in crowded outdoor settings or during activities that involve sustained close contact (including high-risk contact sports) with other people who are not fully vaccinated. For additional CDPH Face Coverings Q&A, visit https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/Face-Coverings-QA.aspx
