We are closed for the season, thank you for a great 2023/2024 season at the park!

We want to express our immense gratitude to everyone for another fantastic season at the Tahoe City Winter Sports Park! The support and love from the community for the park are deeply appreciated. We share your passion for the park and eagerly anticipate your return in November. As the temperatures and sun position become less favorable to maintaining a safe skating surface beyond early March, our focus shifts to preparing the Tahoe City Golf Course for spring golfers. Depending on weather conditions, our anticipated opening date for the Golf Course is May 3. While the ice rink may no longer be available after March 10, the trails will remain open as conditions permit. We'll continue grooming them for as long as possible, so skiers, walkers, and dogs are welcome to enjoy the trails. Just a friendly reminder to clean up after your furry companions!

Winter Sports Park Ice Rink Dasher Board Sponsorship

Are you looking for a creative way to promote your business? The Tahoe City Winter Sports Park Ice Rink has Dasher Boards available for sponsorship for the 2020-2021 winter season. Sponsored Dasher Boards will include your company’s name / logo and are on display for thousands of Winter Sports Park visitors seasonally. Dasher Board sponsors directly support your community Ice Rink and Tahoe City Public Utility District youth hockey programs.

Cost: $500 per season (November 2020 – March 2021)

Cost: $450 per season (November 2020 – March 2021)

Price includes graphic design, printing, installation, and maintenance of your Dasher Board sign. Sponsors must email completed form, ad wording, artwork design, and logo (in .EPS format) to bbutterfield@tcpud.org. All designs will be approved by the Tahoe City Parks and Recreation Department prior to printing.
