Public Notice: 2025 Urban Water Management Plan

Tahoe City Public Utility District (TCPUD) has released its 2025 Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) (PDF - 24MB) for public review. The UWMP outlines how TCPUD plans to manage and deliver reliable water supplies to the community over the next 25 years, including strategies for water conservation, drought preparedness, and long-term supply reliability.

TCPUD invites community members, stakeholders, and interested parties to review the draft plan, submit written comments, and attend the public hearing.

Public Hearing: Thursday, June 18, 2026

  • Time: 8:30 a.m. during the regular TCPUD Board of Directors Meeting
  • Location: In person at 221 Fairway Drive, Tahoe City, CA or online via zoom. Virtual attendance instructions are posted at www.tcpud.org/meetings

Comments must be received by June 18, 2026.

To comply with the California Urban Water Management Planning Act of 1983, urban water suppliers must submit an Urban Water Management Plan to the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) every five years. Read the plan.
